For over 18 years, James Colborn has focused on crafting practical solutions to his clients’ legal issues. His real estate law practice includes facilitating real estate purchases, working with investment property owners and property managers on landlord, tenant and Fair Housing issues, advising and representing homeowners' associations, and working with clients on asset protection including estate planning and probate, organizing the formation of various business entities and collections. James received his bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from Washington State University in 1991 and earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 1995. Throughout law school, James was on the editorial staff of the Willamette Bulletin of International Law and Policy, acting as that publication’s Executive Editor in 1994-1995. Prior to establishing Neal Colborn PLLC, James served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephen W. Drescher in the 3rd District Court of Idaho in 1996-1997 and practiced law in the Seattle area for five years. He remains an active member of the Washington State Bar Association. James has practiced in Boise since 2002, both with Neal Colborn PLLC and its predecessor firm, Neal& Uhl, PLLC.
